Another carboot sale visit

It's carboot sale time again. Last Sunday I was picked up, by brother, at 7.45 am and we arrived around 8:15am/8:30am. This was the field when we arrived. Lots of people had dragged themselves out of bed to walk around the field in search of bargains.

BiBimBap Soho

A few weeks back my boyfriend took me to BiBimBap Soho for lunch. I arrived at 1pm and wanted to order food but the waitress would not let me have a table with out Kit being there. So I had to wait five minutes before he turned up and we could order/sit down. On our lunch break time is of the essence as you only have an hour which is really 50 minutes as you have to get to the restaurant and back in time. We ordered our drinks and was ready at this point to order our meal but the waitress said she would come and get our order in five minutes. That I find really annoying as my food needed to be cooking five minutes ago to be eaten/enjoyed.

Anyway, I would like to say that after the small hiccup at the start I had a lovely time here and the food is amazing.

iMovie on the iPad

I was watching a Primark haul on YouTube the other day and the person who I was watching said that they had used iMovie on iPad. I was wondering if it is worth downloading the iMovie app for my iPad and editing videos on there or I should just stick with iMovie on my MacBook. I thought about downloading it as I like to do things on my iPad when I am travelling to and from work and on my lunch breaks when it's raining. I like filming Primark hauls but editing them and recording the v/o is time consuming. I have to fire up my MacBook if I want to use iMovie and edit with it as well as uploading my rushes. Whereas if I film on my iPhone my rushes are backed up to my photo stream and are instantly accessible with any devise my photos stream is linked too.

Revlon charismatic and stunning

I took a trip to my local Poundland this afternoon and as I haven't been shopping in about 3 weeks all the shops had autumn winter stock. Poundland looked like it had just had a delivery of make up so I rummaged through the prongs and found these 2 nail polishes by Revlon. I am wondering why there is so much Revlon in Poundland at the moment, are they rebranding?

Moroccan oil conditioner review

A few weeks back I took a trip to pound world and bought myself some argon oil conditioner. At the time of purchase I had never used Moroccan oil before and was excited to use it. I took a trip to the hair dressers and had my hair straightened up to the same length all the way round. During that hair cut the hairdresser washed my hair and then applied some Moroccan oil to my hair before drying. Once my hair had been cut and dried I could smell the Moroccan oil and as the smell was quite strong it made me feel a bit queasy.

I put off using the Moroccan hair conditioner I had bought 2 bottles of. Then the other day I thought I would give it a try as I had come to the end of my current conditioner. The smell is the same but not as strong. Before I dry my hair I apply Tresemme heat spray so I think the smell of that masks the argon conditioner smell as it smells like a really cheap hair spray.

Taste of Christmas

Last week I went to a taste of Christmas event at Elcantro in soho on Frith Street. I went along with my friends from work to sample the wine and nibbles.

We were ushered upstairs to the second floor, where the restaurant had decorated the room with cinnamon candles and crackers.

Planting an Aloe Vera Plant

A few weeks back I went home to attend a friends wedding. I took my Aloe Vera plant that had been sitting in water since I came back from Lanzarote, I planted it with my mum, as she had the correct soil and a spare plant pot.

I mostly took photos and watch my mum wrestle with the polystyrene as she tried to break it up into pieces to go in the bottom of the plant pot.

Primark haul

I haven't stepped foot into Primark in about a month or so and all the autumn winter stock has been moved in and the summer stock removed. This makes me really sad as I really enjoy the summer and the summer trends. Winter is so dark, dreary and cold it really doesn't fill me with enthusiasm.

I aw the novelty Christmas jumpers in Primark last year and even took a few to try on in the changing room, but didn't purchase any as I didn't like the material the jumper was made from. However, this year I have managed to get my hands on a Christmas jumper. I picked this up from the men's section as the women's section had Christmas jumpers but not as much choice and didn't seem to be that well made. Anyway this is the jumper I picked up. I bought the small and a medium as I wasn't sure which one looked best. I shall take one back but I'm not sure which one I shall keep.

I'm back!

For the past few weeks I have stepped back from blogging as I had to revise for an exam.
Most of my days were spent in the sunshine and this past week in doors because it rained. I was revising data rates, transfer speeds, codecs, folder structure and colour spacing. All the revising I did paid off as I passed my test. I am so pleased I passed it with 92.5% as we have had a 100% rate and no one has failed in a year so I really didn't want to fail.
